At SOMM we teach a foundational meditation course in Awareness Insight Meditation, certified with the Meditation Alliance International. Not only does this course teach students how to cultivate a daily meditation practice but it also dives into the psychology, biology and neuroscience of meditation.
The 3-part course is one of the most comprehensive courses in meditation out there today. There is nothing more effective for your practice than having an experienced and qualified techer's knowledge and then continued support. Students also become part of the AIM community and have access to support for multiple, certified AIM Facilitators.
We recommend all our students start with this course, whether they are experienced or new to meditation. Our SOMM classes are a beautiful supplement to this teaching.
Everyone is experiencing stress and the pressure of uncertainty right now, and we are especially feeling for our frontline medical professionals and primary and secondary school teachers and all that they are navigating. We would like to support your wellness practices with a FREE membership in March. Hopefully you might be able to give your nervous system a well deserved break with our classes of Guided Meditation, Breathwork and all our other workshops.
SOMM Founder Claire Robbie is running a 4 part Foundations of Meditation Course over March and April. Perfect for those new to the practice and also those who'd like to understand more about what is happening in meditation.
